Built in 1902 by a noteable businessman in Annapolis Royal, the Mills house is a Registered Heritage property which has been lovingly and carefully restored and maintained over the years. Utilized as a bed and breakfast for over 25 years, At the Turret sits across from the Annapolis CountyCourthouse and the Garrison Graveyard near the centre of Annapolis Royal.

Fort Anne, the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens andthe business district of Annapolis Royal, are all just steps away. Park your car At the Turret and enjoy strolling through town. A short drive takes you to the Habitation at Port Royal, the Fundy Shore, or an 18 hole golf course. The Digby-Saint John Ferry is just a 1/2 hour drive away.

Annapolis Royal serves as a good base from which you can go whale-watching, off Long Island or Briar Island, visit several of the growing number of wineries in the Annapolis Valley, or spend a day at Kejimkujik National Park.

2017 marks Canada's 150th anniversary of confederation. There will lots of special events in the Maritimes this year - so do plan on a visit and make sure you don't miss Annapolis Royal.
